Cubles Review

What is Cubles?

Cubles is a simple but unique puzzles where you will be faced with square and rectangle shaped cubes of different colors. Your mission on each level is to successfully match shapes with corners that sport similar colors. Aye, the whole theme seems easy enough, especially when you have had a peak of what a typical game looks like.

Unfortunately, the game features a caveat that will make your puzzle-solving efforts to become a semi to severe challenge – the Cubles. What are they? Where do they come from? No one really knows. All we know is that those Cubles will be the death of you on Cubles as they will be wreaking havoc on your puzzle by dropping water splashes and color bombs along with the occasional tile-locks. All the havoc will lay waste to your ability to find and match shapes efficiently.

What’s in Cubles?

Cubles App

Well, aside from those Cubles (around 12 of them to be exact) and the shapes, there will be a total of 6 full stages encompassing a huge 90-mission platform. This means that you will have to deal with Cubles at least 90 times before you getting to the end of the game. It sucks but somebody has to do it.

Compete with the World

Cubles has an arcade mode that will allow you to play on and on until you get stuck. Go through this mode if you want to show off your high scores to other players in your neighborhood, city, state, country, or planet. Yup, Cubles is posed to be a worldwide phenomenon in mobile gaming. My entire crew of salty seadogs is already infected by those damned wretched Cubles, Arrrr!!!

Technicalities

The game is cute, unique, and extremely simple. Users will learn how to play the game in mere minutes but it will take a lifetime to master it, especially since each puzzle is laced with a hidden challenge – the bonus stars – all 288 of them. If you can collect every single one of them as you play through it, a master of Cubles you will be.

The graphics isn’t too complicated and the sound effects and music are just plain average, and that’s why Cubles delivers the goods. Cubles shines through the averageness of its technicalities. It is a puzzle game after all, savvy?
