Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum! Ahoy there me lads and lasses! Your friendly app pirate is back for another booty hunting journey around the seven seas. While we are sailing to our next destination, the buckos and I decided to play games, and one of the games we played was to guess the drawing. We love guessing games, and we also love to draw, so we get both of the things we love in one. When I was a little lad, I was so good at drawing, and I even joined and won drawing competitions at school. Those were the good old days. I may no longer be competing at school, but I still have the skills, especially since I still keep drawing when I have time. If you hearties also love this type of game, there is an app for this that I will share with you. It’s called Scribble It! by Detach Entertainment. Avast ye and let’s start.
It’s multiplayer and competitive

If you love playing games with others instead of just playing alone, this is an option to add on your list. You can join private rooms that can accommodate up to four players or you can create a private room with friends that can hold up to 16 players. This makes the game more enjoyable because you can play with more people, which is more than the average number of players that similar games often allow. There’s a leaderboard, which makes it competitive and ignites the interest in being on top.
There are various categories

There are many categories to choose from like foods, body parts, and city. This will test both your drawing and guessing skills as you will take turns drawing and guessing with other players. The developers are also constantly adding packs, so you can expect to have something new in the game. It also makes the app more comprehensive as it brings a variety of topics or words to guess. You can also create a word list, although this is only available on the paid version. Paying for this is a bit costly.
It’s challenging as it’s timed
The difficulty of the words vary as there are simple ones, and there are also those that are more challenging to guess or draw. What makes it even more challenging is that it’s timed. You are given 60 seconds per round to draw or guess. This keeps the game interesting, but it can also be too tough on harder words. It would have been better if the time was a bit longer to give ample time for the players to draw and guess.
There are various tools available
There are different drawing tools to use in this free to play game. They are nothing fancy, but they still help in drawing whatever word you get. There’s the freehand drawing tool that lets you freely draw an image, which also comes in different thickness. There are also shapes that let you easily use them on the game window, as well as various color selections to give life to your drawing.
The ups
It’s free to play and there are various categories to choose from. You can play in public rooms with random players or in a private room with your friends. It’s challenging and it’s also competitive as you compete with other players in the leaderboard.
The downs
Getting the feature to create your own word list is expensive. There’s a time limit of 60 seconds, which is short, especially for more difficult words.
THe verdict
Although there are cons to the game Scribble It!, we still recommend downloading it as its pros outweigh them. It’s free, challenging and competitive. You can play with random players or with friends. There are many categories to choose from that let you guess or draw a wide range of words, testing your drawing and guessing skills.
