Ye see this buccaneer hates these ants as they would always eat me bread that I should eat after a long day booty hunting. That’s why this old salt always end up just drinking on rum because the ants already ate me bread and that of me parrot. This app reminds me of what I do when I see those ants eating me bread! Aye, I smash them hard! So avast ye lads and lasses and let’s begin this review.
Realistic Ants
The ants, bees and other bugs and insects on the game are realistic. On the first few levels of the game, you would just be dealing with different sizes of ants that doesn’t just look real, but they move as if they are the real thing. There are also bees, which you need to avoid smashing or the game will end. What’s even more fun is that there’s an option to smash your friends!
Changing Background
The graphics of the game is nice in general. It’s not elaborate, but it’s pleasing enough on the eyes. When you launch the app, the main menu will show up with different color leaves where the options are written. The leaves are on a wooden floor. You’ll also see a wooden floor on the first levels of the game, but the background changes, which help in giving the game a fresh view. This is a good feature, especially with this one in which the gameplay is the same until it ends.
Fun Sound Effects
There’s no background music, which is just fine since it would help you focus more in smashing the ants and other insects, while avoiding the killer bees. There’s this fun sound that you’ll hear when ants are smashed. You’ll also hear the buzzing of the bee when it’s about to come out. The sound effects are not that grand, but they are still a good addition to the app.
Easy to Play
Ant Smasher has different game modes that would be appropriate for the age of the player. These modes include baby, kids, fun and classic. The gameplay is so simple that anyone would learn how to play it in an instant. Tap on the ants and other insects to kill them but avoid the bees. The pace of the game starts slow then becomes faster. This is when it gets more challenging, especially as more ants and bees go out at the same time.
