AskMob Review

On October 8, 2015

Ahoy, matey! Here’s yer favorite app pirate ready to give ye another dose of app review. There’s this app that me and the crew recently discovered and it’s called AskMob. We were able to use it to connect with the other landlubbers and buccaneers. These buckos on the ship have been hooked. Aye, these bilge-sucking men hardly help in cleaning ‘acause of that. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh! ‘Afore we start booty hunting, let me start with the review so avast ye all me lads and lasses.

It’s Social

AskMob App

AskMob is like a simplified version of social media, messenger and more rolled into one. You can post questions, chat with people, create groups and even track where they are, that is if they approve your request. What’s good about this is that you can post questions anonymously in case you don’t want others that a specific question is from you. You’ll have this option on every question you post, which is cool since this allows people to ask even those questions that they may be shy to ask to people they personally know. You can also share your ideas or views on other users’ questions. Users are able to view post within 11 miles of their area, which somewhat help in keeping the local people connected with each other.  Friendships can also flourish as you can send private messages to other users, even when they are not part of your group.

Basic User Interface

AskMob Review

Although it has lots of things to offer, the developers still managed to keep it simple and organized. The basic user interface would not overwhelm users, especially those who are new to it or don’t really like to explore complicated stuffs. The buttons are cleanly placed at the bottom so you really don’t have to look in other areas to check out your options. It would only you a short time to familiarize yourself with the use of this app.

The Ups

AskMob is user friendly, which makes it easy to use even to newbies. It’s also nice how it allows people who are in the same community or are within the same area have the opportunity to more easily get to know each other and help each other by answering each other’s questions. Its anonymous feature is also a good addition, especially the fact that you have the option to do this only on specific questions where you don’t want to be known as the poster. Users would more likely not hold back on their questions since they have the choice to be kept unknown on their posts.

The Downs

AskMob doesn’t really have a huge drawback. The 11 miles limit could perhaps be extended, although it’s not really a deal breaker. After all, this also has some benefits since it would be much easier to meet each other in person in case users decide to do so. They could actually do it quickly since they would just be around 30 minutes’ drive away from each other.

The Verdict

If you want to connect with friends, as well as with people around your area, it’s highly recommended that you download and install AskMob on your device. It’s also free so you wouldn’t spend any money to get it.
