Ahoy there me hearties! This old pirate feels like I’ve gained weight the past months. Aye, I was a bit sluggish when booty hunting and it was hard for me to keep up with the crew. I guess it was all from all the drinking and eating that we had that was almost every night. Har, har, har! The other pirates continued to exercise, but I slept on my bed instead, so here I am now, I am over me ideal weight. I decided to lose weight so me started to eat healthy and exercise. I also downloaded an app that I will share now with ye me hearties. It’s called Calorie Counter – MyFitnessPal by MyFitnessPal Inc. Listen up me lads and lasses!

This app can be downloaded for free. However, you need Internet connection in order to use it. As you open the app, you will receive an error if not connected to the web. It would be so much better to have access to it to track your calorie counts even offline.

It’s Customized

What’s great about this app is that it is customized to your own details. You will be asked for your information including your height, weight, age, and weight goal. You will also be asked about your activity level. This will give you the amount of calories that you should take per day in order to reach your weight goal.

The blog is a good addition because when you’re not tracking your calorie count, there are other helpful things that you can check out on the app. There’s also a diary where you can track all the foods that you eat for each day.

Without the app, you have to determine how many calories each of the foods that you eat have, which is a lot of work and inconvenience. You also have to take note of your progress. This app brings convenience because you just have to enter the foods you eat and it will count the calories for you and tell you the remaining calories you still can take for the day.
