One Touch Drawing Review

On July 30, 2015

Do ye know what we pirates are doing while on the ship on our way to our next booty hunting trip? Well, aside from drinking rum that is. We buccaneers spend a lot of time moving from one treasure hunt location to another that’s why various game apps on our mobile devices keep up entertained. Aye, these old salts also love to play! Speaking of that, I would like to share with ye lads and lasses about this game called One Touch Drawing. It’s a puzzle game that you may like. Batten down the hatches as we start this One Touch Drawing review.

Simple User Interface

One Touch Drawing App

This app has a very basic user interface. It doesn’t have much style, color, design, background or themes. When you open the game, you will see the main screen that has your options, including start, survival and settings. These options have a light colored background and that’s it. Once you start the game, you will be taken to the first world that has several levels. You can’t move to the next level unless you finish the level before it. The game window itself is also simple. It shows you the figure that you need to draw, as well as the icons for the other options including undo, restart, star, hint and solve. You wouldn’t have a problem navigating the app. You’ll know how to play it immediately.

Easy to Learn, Hard to Master

One Touch Drawing Review

This is one of those puzzle games that you would think are very easy to complete. While it’s easy to understand the basic gameplay of One Touch Drawing, it would be very difficult to master and you’ll find it challenging to clear the levels, especially the higher ones. You basically need to complete drawing or tracing the figure from one point to another without passing on the same line twice. It then gets more complicated, as on the other levels, there would be lines on the figure that needs to be passed twice, lines that can only be passed going to one direction and those that have changing points. While there are hints and an option to solve the puzzle, this would cost you stars. You are given a few stars when you start, but once you run out of them, you may need to make an in-app purchase. The survival mode is even more difficult as the game would be over with just one mistake. There’s no undo in this mode.

Will Keep You Occupied

One Touch Drawing has hundreds of challenging level that you need to clear. New content is also being added so in case you have cleared the first levels, which would also take some time, there may already be new levels that you can try. Once you start playing the game, it would be difficult to take it down as you would feel the urge to clear the levels.

The Good

The game is free so you can get it without spending anything. It also has several levels that would keep you occupied. The puzzles are also challenging to complete, which would keep you interested.

The Bad

The hints and solve options would quickly eat up your stars. If you’re not careful enough, you may end up making in-app purchase, especially if you get hooked with the game.

The Verdict

If you’re looking for a free and challenging game that would keep you occupied and interested, it’s recommended that you get One Touch Drawing. Making an in-app purchase is optional anyway so it’s still entirely up to you if you’ll end up spending some cash or not.
