Me and the buckos made several trips down there to explore it. It was huge and it had a lot of treasures on it. We were ecstatic at all the great finds that we found. Me know that ye can’t wait for the next app review, so let’s start it now without further ado. Avast ye and let’s begin the review of this app called SmoresUp by Rotation 5, LLC.

It’s a family chore organizer and more

SmoresUp Review

SmoresUp is a family app that is mainly designed to assign or schedule task for each member and ensure that they are completed. It makes it easier to track every chore and see to it that nothing is forgotten. It also allows parents to reward kids through smores points that they can collect, save, and spend. It does its job on that part and it also offers more than just organize and track chores.

Other features include a calendar that you can sync with Google so all members know the upcoming events or occasions. It also has a notification to be reminded of the tasks assigned, and it allows customization like determining how often the task is done and what time. Moreover, it serves as a private family networks where you can post photos or videos for the family to see. There is also a SmoresUp community that would let parents connect with other SmoresUp users for parenting topics.

It’s easy to use

SmoresUp App

The app is user-friendly, which makes it perfect to be used by family members, including younger kids. The adults have different controls for the kids, so the young ones will only have access to the features available for them like their tasks and the smores they collect. Even if it doesn’t have a tutorial, it will be easy and quick to learn the app by exploring on your own, as it’s intuitive.

It’s free with a premium option

SmoresUp is available for download for free. You will have access to all its features, including the premium ones for 45 days or 450 chores, whichever comes first of the two. After that, you can continue using it for free but the premium features will be removed, such as advance chores management and advance rewards. There will also be no free updates. If you decide to go for the premium, which is currently $4.99 per month as of this writing, you will continue to have access to the complete features and future updates. This subscription is auto-renewed, so if you do not wish to continue, make sure that you disable the auto-renewal feature on your settings to prevent being charged further.

The good

The app is free and it does what it is designed for, which is to manage tasks and track them. It also has more features like calendar, rewards, and family network. It allows parents to connect with other parents who are also SmoresUp users.

The bad

It sometimes freezes, so it may affect the user experience, also it is not that often.

The verdict

SmoresUp is recommended for parents who want to easily manage and track the chores for the family. It gives more features than that, which they would find helpful like rewards and family network. It’s also free with an option to move to a paid subscription after the free trial is over to continue using premium features. It may hang at times, but generally, it is an excellent app for family to keep track of their chores and also stay connected in a private network.
