Doesn’t Come with Instructions

Word Quest Review

When you open the app it doesn’t have a walkthrough like other apps usually have. There is also no information written on how it is played. However, it is also not a rocket science to figure out, especially if you have been playing similar games before. They either let you tap on the letters or connect the letters to create various words. In this case, you will need to connect the letters to form the words that you need to search in the puzzles. The number of letters per word is determined by the number of boxes on the upper part of the game window.

Thousands of Puzzles to Answer

Word Quest App

There are literally thousands of puzzles to play. What’s even better is that you can play it offline, which means you don’t need Internet connection in order to start solving the puzzles. You can also play from where you left, as well as allow you to visit the puzzles you have already unlocked and play them again. This free app is a good time waster that you can pick up and put down anytime. Although the game is free, there are annoying advertisements that pop-up, after each level is completed. The ads can be a nuisance and they can affect the overall mood of the game.

Just the Right Level of Challenge

Depending on how excellent you are when it comes to word puzzles, the levels may be too easy for you. However, for average players, the difficulty level is just right. It’s is challenging enough to make you think, but you can definitely pass the levels as they are not impossible to answer.

The Ups

Word Link is free to download and play. Although the download requires that you are connected to the Internet, you don’t need to have Internet connection when playing as you can play offline. There are thousands of puzzles to answer, and they have the right amount of challenge. You can also easily pick up from where you left, instead of having to start all over on your level.

The Downs

The advertisements of the game can be annoying as they show up after every puzzle is completed. It also doesn’t come with a tutorial or instructions so new players have to figure how to play this on their own.

The Verdict

Word Link has its drawbacks, but they are not too different from other word puzzle games. If you love this kind of game and you are looking to add another title on your list, this one is a good option. It’s free, it has thousands of levels, and it has just the right amount of challenge.
