World of Cheese Review

On January 24, 2014

Avastthar ye swabbies! Yer friendly app pirate is back for another great review for one of the applications I recently played called World of Cheese. ‘Tis a game that features a mouse and aye, ye buckos got it right! It’s wanting some cheese. Let’s see if ye lads will enjoy this game like Left-eye Morrison and Big Jim did with this World of Cheese review.

Where’s the Cheese?

World of Cheese is a freemium puzzle game that seems easy to play; but when you do play it, you’ll be surprised that it’s more challenging than you think. So don’t be fooled by the way it looks. It may appear like more of a little kid’s game but you would find yourself scratching your head on several levels. There are 35 levels in the game and the main goal is to find the cheese on each level to move to the next one.

World of Cheese Review

The first ten levels are free to play but you need to purchase a premium pack in order to play the remaining levels, which you would probably do, since you would find yourself wanting more. There are no clues on what you need to do to find the cheese. So you need to be very observant and you must think hard in order to complete the levels. For instance, one level would require you to nail and paint some woods to complete the fence and find the cheese. Other levels are simple but there are those that you would really find difficult, which adds to the zest of the game.

It’s Cartoonlike

The graphics of the game is cartoonlike. Basing on that, it looks like it’s a game that is meant for kids. While it can be played by children, adults would also have fun playing it. Those who are into puzzle games would specially love this one. The levels are set in different areas of the house so you would not be bored seeing just one background as it changes every time. Some of the graphics move while others do not.

It’s Upbeat and Lively

The background music is fun to listen to. You would feel more enthusiastic in playing while listening to it. There are also sound effects on each action you make. For example, when watering the seeds that you plant in one level, you would hear the sprinkling of water, which is an added point to the game.

World of Cheese App

You can only move to the next level once you find the cheese. And you will get a gold, silver or bronze rank depending on how well you did in the game. It will be based on the number of moves it took to complete the level. Fewer moves mean higher ranking. So there’s a huge possibility that you’ll find yourself wanting to repeat each level to get that much coveted gold ranking.

The Verdict

World of Cheese is a good game to download on your device. It’s free for the first few levels, fun and challenging. However, you may need to spend a little amount in order to play the remaining levels, which is okay since you would have a great time playing the app.
