Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum! Ahoy there me lads and lasses! We found this familiar island, and we were surprised by what we found! It wasn’t booties, but we stumbled upon the place where they shoot the hit Netflix series Single’s Inferno. We were huge fans since the first season, and it looked like they were shooting for the latest season. Although we didn’t know the contestants yet, we were excited as we saw them before the new season was even shown on TV. We can’t wait to watch the new season. Since we’re on the topic, I thought it would be great to share an app review that is also connected to the said show. Listen up as I tell you hearties more about the app called Single’s Inferno Netflix by Netflix Inc.

It’s free for Netflix members

You must be a Netflix member to download the game as it will require your credentials. If you want to try the game but you don’t have a Netflix subscription, you will not be able to use the app. This is a drawback because non-members will not be able to explore the game. It would have been nicer if there was an option for non-members to download and play it because even those who are not familiar with the show, but are into choices-type of games, might like this too. But Netflix members who are also fans of the show would find this interesting because it has the same concept as the TV series itself, and it would make them feel like they are part of it as they play as one of the participants.

It has average graphics but it’s detailed

The graphics are not realistic and exceptional, but they are also not too bad. One can’t complain, especially if you can get the app for free if you are a Netflix subscriber. The images are average, but they are detailed, so you will still enjoy looking around. There are various settings, like the rooms of the players, the beach and the paradise. The animation are not the best because instead of the characters doing realistic moves when they do something like playing a game, they would just pop-up on the screen when they are talking without really performing the activity that they are supposed to be doing.

You can customize your character

If you love customizing characters, you will love this feature of this app. You can choose how your character looks, from its hairstyle to the clothes it wears. Unfortunately, there are not many options when it comes to clothes. It would be more enjoyable if you have more options, so you can change your outfit in every challenge or in every task, just like how it is in the series.

Your choices shape how the story goes

It’s nostalgic as you follow a story that you see on TV, if you watched the series. It’s exciting because it feels like you are part of it as you play one of the characters. It’s a choices-type of game, so you need to make decisions that affect your relationship with other characters and what happens next. However, it feels odd that all the other characters try to pursue you, so it’s more of deciding which of them you’ll end up with instead of exploring connections and competing for their attention.

The good

It’s free for Netflix members and it’s familiar to the fans of the TV series where it was based. You can customize your character and you can make choices that will shape the outcome of the story. It has detailed images, so you will feel that you are in the said TV show as the surroundings are similar, including the rooms and paradise.

The bad

Only Netflix subscribers can play it. The graphics are also not that  impressive.

The verdict

If you are a Netflix member, we highly recommend that you try the Single’s Inferno Netflix app. It feels exciting and nostalgic if you are a fan of the TV show of the same name as it was based on that. You will feel like you are part of the series as the concept and environment will remind you of the show. You can customize your character and you will also be involved as you make the decisions that will determine the outcome of the story.
