My Dear Farm Icon

Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum! Ahoy there me lads and lasses! After our booty hunting adventure, we came across this huge farm that had plenty of fruits and vegetables. The owners were so kind that they let us explore their place and even allowed us to pick some of their crops that we took home. They even showed and taught us the proper way of farming, so we also got to try that. We had an excellent time and we truly enjoyed the experience. It even made me think of having my own farm someday. Har, har, har! If you hearties are into farm games, keep reading as I tell you more about the app called My Dear Farm by HyperBeard.

It has adorable 2D artwork

My Dear Farm Review

Although many games are now in 3D and have realistic graphics, this game has its own charm because its 2D cartoonish art style gives that classic and cute vibe that gives warmth to the heart. It’s refreshing to look at since colors are not too vibrant and it’s not too heavy on animation, so you can focus on the details.

It’s free and not heavy on advertisements

My Dear Farm App

This game is downloadable without a fee. There are in-app purchases, but you will not feel like being forced to get them as you can keep playing for free if you want to. Another good thing is that you will not be bombarded by advertisements, which is a usual scenario in many free games. It also comes with advertisements, but it’s up to you if you want to watch them and if you do, you get something in return like plants and furniture.

It has lots of customization options

What makes this game even more fun is it allows you to customize your character and your house or farm. There are many options to choose from, so if you’re a fan of dressing up, you will enjoy this game as it also has that feature. You can select the facial features and outfits of your character. When it comes to the house and farm decorations, there are also many items to choose from, and you can unlock more spaces to decorate, although it requires more coins.

It’s relaxing and you can play it offline

It’s more on the chill side as you can play it at your own pace. You can also keep playing even while offline. There are mini games too that give variety to the app like selling your crops to customers. It’s like the restaurant management games you know, but just a mini game and you’re selling fruits or vegetables to customers that you need to serve fast to keep them happy. This mini game may require speed, but it’s still fun, a little challenging but not to the point of it becoming frustrating.

The controls can miss and wait time can be long

The controls have a glitch as they sometimes don’t work as you want them to, so you could end up doing things that you don’t intend on doing like for instance purchasing or choosing something. The wait time can also be long for some things to complete or be ready like an hour or even longer in others.

The ups

It’s free and it has adorable artwork that’s refreshing in the eyes. There are many customization options and it also has mini games. You can play it offline too. It also doesn’t bombard with advertisements.

The downs

There are glitches on the controls and waiting time is long on some things.

The verdict

We highly recommend My Dear Farm to those who are into farm and home decorating games. It’s a mix of different types of games, which make it even more enjoyable as you are not just focused on farming, although it’s the main gameplay. You can customize your farm, character and home, and there are mini games to play too.
