Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum! Ahoy there me lads and lasses! We just got back from the ship and bought many Turkish items since we stopped by the country to meet some friends. We grabbed the opportunity to also explore the place and it was an amazing experience. I loved their authentic kebab recipes that I wanted to go back there the moment the ship started sailing. Har, har, har! I will definitely be back someday given the chance. For now, I’ll save those fun moments and remember them through this app that I found. And of course, this old salt will share it with you. It’s called Kebab World: Cooking City Chef by Famobi. Listen up and let me tell you more about it.

It’s free and there are long advertisements after every level

Kebab World Cooking City Chef Review

You can download the game for free, and keep playing without spending anything. There are in-app purchases but it’s your choice to spend real money or not. There are long advertisements after every level, which are not too bad, especially since you don’t get them in the middle of the game. However, there’s no option to pay to remove advertisements for those who don’t mind paying for it. There are also optional advertisements that you can watch for rewards.

Upgrades can be slow but not impossible with patience

As mentioned, there are in-app purchases available if you don’t mind spending money to make everything fast, including upgrades. However, if you prefer to play for free, you can do so, but it’s just slower. You need patience but it’s doable since many players progress in the game without spending real money. There are also rewards that you can win from various challenges and daily logins. Although the game sometimes glitches, it does not show them.

There’s a tutorial and you will learn various Anatolian foods

Even if you are new to this type of game, learning the gameplay is not a problem because there’s a tutorial for every new food that you need to prepare. Plus, it also introduces you to the type of food that you will prepare, which is also an additional knowledge as you get more familiar with this type of cuisine. If you love learning more about new foods, this game is for you.

There are over 750 levels with 20 locations

There are more than 750 levels and they are spread in 20 locations. Every location offers different foods and the restaurants also look different from each other, so you will see variety. There are so many foods and kitchen items to upgrade. The graphics are cute although some of the items look small. But it’s fun to see the special effects when cooking and serving like the look and sound of burning charcoal when grilling and the slash of drinks when you prepare them from the dispenser. It gives a positive effect on the overall game experience.

The ups

It’s free and it has a tutorial. It has hundreds of levels in various locations that have different restaurant themes and foods to serve. It introduces you to a variety of Anatolian foods. It has adorable graphics and fun special effects.

The downs

Progress can be slow without in-app purchases. The advertisements are long and there is no way to pay to remove them. There are also glitches at times where daily rewards and challenges don’t show.

The verdict

We recommend Kebab World: Cooking City Chef to those who are into cooking and time management games, and those who love learning new cuisines, especially Anatolian or Turkish recipes.
