Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of rum! Ahoy there me hearties! The crew and I just completed a fresh makeover of the ship, which was long overdue. We wanted a new look and feel for a long time now, but we were so busy that we didn’t have time to do it. We finally decided to take some time off to do the makeover and it was all worth it. We love how it turned out. If you don’t know yet, this old salt is also talented when it comes to decorating and designing spaces, whether it’s a home, office, or a ship! Of course, the buckos were there to help, and we successfully achieved our vision. I guess playing decorating games helped further develop my skills. Har, har, har! Speaking of games, let me share one of those decorating games with you. It’s called House Flipper: Home Design by PlayWay SA. Batten down the hatches and let’s start.

It’s free with minimal advertisements

House Flipper Home Design Review

You can download this game for free and although it comes with in-app purchases, it’s still up to you if you want to spend on them or not. You can keep playing without spending real money, although you may need to grind more compared to the convenience and speed of paying with real cash. But again, it’s still your choice if you want to do it or not. Although there are advertisements, there are not too many. You can still focus and enjoy the game without being bombarded by a crazy number of ads.

It gives you freedom to design and there are also tasks

There are flipping or makeover projects that you can do for clients and various tasks that require you to follow specific requirements like the paint color, etc. But you can also decorate your own home and office to your liking, which gives you creative freedom. It offers the best of both worlds where you can freely decorate and also train yourself to decorate following specific guides from clients for projects, which is what happens in real life. It’s a simulation of the real thing.

It has realistic graphics and you can play offline

The graphics make the game more fun because they are realistic. The details and the variety of items available ranging from furniture to other decors make it more engaging and interesting. The controls are also smooth and there are tutorials when there are new items you need to use, making it easier to learn. It’s also available offline, so you can play anytime, anywhere.

The upgrades become more expensive as you level up

As you reach higher levels, the upgrades and items become more expensive, which is why it’s difficult to earn more coins for purchasing them. This could slow down your progress significantly or tempt you to spending real money to afford the upgrades.

The pros

It has realistic graphics with plenty of items and decorations to choose from. It’s free to download and you can play offline. There are projects and tasks that have requirements to follow like in real life when you have a project but you can also freely decorate your own space. There are not too many advertisements.

The cons

The upgrades become more expensive as you reach higher levels, significantly slowing progress.

The verdict

We highly recommend House Flipper: Home Design for those who love home makeover simulations. It’s free and there are hundreds of items to choose from when decorating or designing spaces. It gives the real feel of flipping homes because of the realistic graphics and requirements you need to follow from customers, which is true in real life. But you can still enjoy designing your own space freely, so you can do whatever you want. Although it’s free, the advertisements are not too many, allowing you to focus on the game.
