Argh, ahoy there, mateys! ‘Tis I, the app pirate ready ta give you another review o’ ours. While me and me crew work exclusively in the dangerous act of piracy, sometimes we freelance. Ya hear right, you scurvy dog, sometimes the crew and I must venture forward to find work. As one might imagine, sometimes this means that we’ll have a hard time finding those jobs. Sometimes, we need a bit o’ a push in the right direction. This be why we look to special apps that get us more responses to our offers. This be my review of the GetResponse email marketing service.
Budget Marketing
Expansive marketing plans are often expensive things that are hard to keep track of. Sometimes, you need a streamlined solution to a messy problem. GetResponse provides that solution by seeking out targeted contacts. Often, marketing campaigns can be perceived as annoying. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t leads online. GetResponse takes in your current contact list and then expounds on that through research. The results of which should net you a likelier chance of getting a new contact or lead.
You can also add different customizations onto each of your contacts. For example; you can place your most likely leads into a list of specialized emails. However, if you get negative responses from certain emails, then the blacklist ensures they never get your emails again.
The Autoresponder feature is a simple thing. It allows your subscribers to receive new offers. However, there is no option for expanded customization. That means if one of your customers clicks a certain link, they won’t get an email responding to that link. It’s a bit of a downfall for GetResponse.
Customized Emails
A marketing campaign wouldn’t be much if your emails were plain text. While there isn’t a lot you can do with emails, GetResponse does try its best to create good looking emails. You can modify everything about the fonts and colors. You can also add images, audio, and video multimedia presentations, which can enhance the content even further. Lastly, each email can be modified with other images, like logos on your header so that you further your brand awareness.
However, if you need a bit more data, then GetResponse offers you another important marketing component. On top of great email services, you can also use this app to give out surveys and questionnaires. This will inevitably give you a bit more data about what users want and need from your services.
The Verdict
Get Response is very effective at doing what it was designed to do. Create a feasible and cheap marketing plan without the loss of efficiency. At the same time, it is also very cheap and easy to use. The program’s ability to seek out good leads is a welcome change. However, the lack of furthered email response options can be a bit of a letdown. This program is great for those that need an easy solution to their marketing needs, check it out and see if it suits you.

Great Post!
Ultimate Review of GetResponse. Soon going to try it. Looking forward for such lovely Reviews.
Great comparison. We’ve used Aweber for years and despite looking like the ugly duckling of the email marketing world, we love it. There is one thing that you may want to update in your review – Aweber does allow basic split testing. They also have great email deliverability rates, although I don’t know how they compare to GetResponses.
