Super Dancer Review

Ahoy there me hearties! It’s yer favorite app pirate, back for another review of an app that I want to share with ye. Do ye remember Dance Revolution? It’s a video dance game where ye buckos would step on the arrows on a huge gamepad as they appear on the screen. Games like this are also popular in arcades, aye? Har, har, har! Ye thought this old salt know nothing about these games? Blimey! I can beat all ye bilge-sucking buccaneers in this. Well, this app called the Super Dancer is similar to this. Batten down the hatches as we start the review.

Outstanding Graphics

I’ll give two thumbs up for the graphics of this app. It’s 3D and it’s very pleasing to the eyes. The characters and items are more like those cute graphics that you would see on Japanese or Korean prints or animation. The colors are on the bright and pastel side, making the game feel livelier and more exciting. I’m not surprised that it won the Best Graphics of Mobile Game Prize award for the 2015 Global Mobile Internet Conference. It truly deserves it and you’ll know what I mean the first time you see this app.

It’s Social

If you have played the game that I mentioned, which is Dance Revolution, you’ll instantly know what to do. Instead of using your feet or your whole body for dancing and playing the game, you’ll be using your fingers for tapping on the right arrows as you move to the beat. This app also has a social feature. You can play with other users and even team up with them. The couple mode lets you compete against others with your virtual partner. It has a chat feature so you can chat with other players. Even if you’re not familiar with this game, it’s not difficult to learn how to use this app. You’ll familiarize yourself with its gameplay fast.

Lots of Content to Unlock

This game comes with different areas to explore and missions to complete, which will unlock more levels, items and options. You’ll find yourself wanting to play more because the items for customizing your avatar are pretty cool.

The Good

Graphic-wise, Super Dancer is just superb! I love the characters, the background and the items. Looking at them is already a treat. The chat feature is also cool and the fact that it has loads of content to unlock means that it’s something that you can continue playing for quite some time.

The Bad

It could take some time before you can unlock levels and items in the game, which can be frustrating as it’s really nice to have access to them. In app purchase is available to unlock them fast, but you’ll spend real money for this one. Some users also report that they experience freezing at times.

The Verdict

While in-app purchases are available, it’s entirely up to you if you wish to spend some cash or not. You can still play the game without spending anything. Freezing is something that doesn’t happen to everyone. Restarting the game or freeing space on your device would usually resolve it. The graphics is beautiful and it’s really a fun app to play. It’s highly recommended that you download and install Super Dancer.
