It Finds People on Your Contact List
CallMyName works for you as soon as you install and run it. It initially syncs with your contact list and then organizes it. So, if you want to call someone, you no longer need to scroll up or down to find a name or a number. Simply load the app, type the name (first or last) and let the app find the contact you need. Just tap the green button beside the contact to make the call. It is simple and easy, something that your iPhone or Android device doesn’t seem to get.
It Finds People on the Net
Need to contact an old friend, a high school classmate, or perhaps an old flame but don’t have the number? Don’t sweat it. If that person has CallMyName installed on his or her phone, the app will find the number for you. If the app can’t find it, it will look through the Internet to find the person you are looking for. This is a fantastic app for tracking down people’s phone numbers.
It Finds Businesses and Establishments near You
Do you have a hankering for a Big Mac? This isn’t a problem with CallMyName. Using you phone’s internal GPS, it will locate the nearest McDonald’s for you and its number so that you can call them up for an order. CallMyName will detect this directory and activate the feature for its global number location system.
The Verdict
So far, I have not encountered a bug or glitch with this app. The features are all practical and work quite well. The interface is simple enough to navigate and master. All in all, CallMyName is a solid app that everyone should start using. It’s free by the way, so cost shouldn’t be an issue either. Looking into the future, i can totally imagine their slogan comes into reality – a world without phone numbers, Aye, now dat’ be a sight for y’all!
