It is such a great game, that its game developer created another version Cut the Rope: Experiments. I love the original mobile game app. But I also like the new one. Good Old Fun
Before I continue with this mobile game app review, let us go through what makes Cut the Rope such a great game that ZeptoLab decided to come up with an extension pack. This mobile game app is one of those physics based puzzle game. But before we go on. It all begins with a box being delivered to your doorstep. And inside the box is a cute green little monster named, Om Nom. And this is one hungry baby monster. Your mission is to feed the little guy with a piece of candy in every level. Each level is laced with tricks and objects that can either help you or make life harder for you. And just to remind you the game is played by touching the objects on your touch screen mobile device. The range of interaction on the screen includes cutting ropes with a swipe of a finger, popping bubbles with just a touch and tapping on cute looking air cushions to push objects with air. Each stage is a puzzle waiting to be solved. Some are relatively easy and there are some that are just tough. There are stages that will frustrate you with the tricky execution of a simple idea. And these challenges are what make the game a good one. And it is as if the game was not challenging enough, the developers created a three star system. Every time you finish a stage you are given stars based on your performance. If you are given a star that means you barely solved the puzzle. The more stars you get the higher your score is. This system makes you want to finish a level more than once. This makes you wants to master a level before you can actually move on to the next puzzle. This is a simple but an ingenious way of making the game very playable and enjoyable. The old Cut the Rope experience is already a great mobile gaming app to play. It can fill your need for cuteness and fun game play in an instant. That is why a new version of the game can really push the fun factor a lot of notches higher.
New Fun Twist
The new version of Cut the Rope adds on the original version’s success. Cut the Rope: Experiments is an extended version of the original game. You have to play the original levels to get to the new ones. It is a way of refreshing you before the new features can be played. But what are the new features? The game introduces new toys for you to use. The first one is the rope shooter. It is like a harpoon. Just tap it and a piece of rope flings toward the candy. Another cool new toy is the suction cup. A tap releases it from the wall and another tap reattaches it. The suction cup will bring out your creativity in getting the candy to Om Nom.
