Yo-ho-ho and a bottle full of rum!!! Oh, there ye are me hearties! Don’t mind this old salt, I be jolly from all the loot me and me hands just got from them shark bait o’er thar. ‘Afore I became a pirate, I wanted to have me own restaurant. That’s why I was very happy with this game called Diner Dash. ‘Tis old bucko loves playing it because it makes me feel that I really have me own restaurant. This Diner Dash review will tell you more about this fun game.
The Basics of the Game
Diner Dash is one of the most downloaded games and it’s available in various platforms including Windows, Mac, PlayStation, Android and iOS. The basic gameplay is the same so once you familiarize yourself playing it on one platform you would not have problems playing it on other devices. You will play the role of Flo, who wants to quit her day job and start her own business. There are two modes in the game, Flo’s Career and Endless Shift. Flo’s Career is the story mode where you need to achieve the goal of the current level before moving to the next. Endless Shift is the game’s survival mode. Flo buys a closed property and turned into a diner. There is a specific amount that you need to earn on each level. Serve the customers and make them happy to earn more.
You will start with a small diner. But it will become bigger and you’ll have more equipment as you progress in the game. You should not have any problems serving the customer on the first few levels since the game is still slow and there is a tutorial on the first stage that would tell you the basic things you need to know like placing the customers on the tables, getting their orders, serving their orders, getting their payment and cleaning the table.
The game gets more challenging and it would require multitasking on the higher levels since you will be serving more customers, each having their own personalities. Some are impatient but tip more, while others are more patient but tip less. So you also need to strategize and decide which customers to prioritize to maximize your profit.
Graphics and Sounds
The graphics of the game is good. It is not something elaborate that would make your eyes pop out but its simplicity and clean graphics makes it pleasing to the eye. Once you completed all levels for a specific stage, you will be opening another restaurant, which has a different theme than the first.
You will not feel bored because your environment changes. The background music of the game is fun to listen to. It makes you enjoy the game more. It doesn’t really interfere with your gameplay so it’s okay to turn it on, though there is an option to turn it off if you wish to. When pondering about this fiasco, it kinda reminds me of the restaurant in me old’ rotten ship, always messy, sticky and sassy! Aye, i think i will make the head chef walk the plank.
The Verdict
It is easy learn how to play the basics of the game and it also has its sets of challenges. With all the levels that you need to complete, this is something that would keep you occupied for a long time. You might find it a bit slow at first but wait until you get to the higher levels, as this will definitely test how well you multitask. In short, addicting! A good title.
