Ahoy there me hearties. Here’s yer friendly app pirate excited to go on a new treasure hunt with the crew. We found a map in a bottle floating on the ocean and it looked like it will lead us to great finds. We are heading to the place that it is telling us right now. It will take a few hours to get there so while we are on our way, might as well treat ye lads and lasses with another app review. Let’s talk about this app called Factory Inc. by Cheetah Games. Avast ye and let’s start.
High quality graphics and animation
As the title suggests, the game is set in a factory, although it looks more like a mine at first, especially the factory guide looks like a miner with his jumper and helmet. There is a huge red brick wall with a space in the middle where everything happens. This is where the items go out and machines are installed to produce different products. The animation is smooth and the way the machines move will make you feel you are in a real factory, although different items are passing through the same way. The backstory before the actual game starts is also a good addition as it gives you a background on where it all started.
Several things to unlock
As of this writing, there are over 20 machines and 90 products to unlock so there is a lot to look forward to. They can be unlocked once you have reached a specific level. Plus, they can also be upgraded to make work fast and to earn more. Aside from the machines and items, you can also unlock and hire managers. They have different characteristics so it’s not like you’re just choosing based on their looks because you also have to consider what they can do.
Can be played offline
You don’t need Internet connection to play it, which is perfect for those who want a game that they can pick up and put down anytime, anywhere. It is a good time-waster as you will be occupied with everything that is going on. Even if you don’t do anything, watching the machines do the work is already an entertainment.
Bombarded with advertisement
The only issue with this game is that it has way too many advertisements. You need to watch a long advertisement every time you unlock an achievement. There are other ads that pop-up aside from these, although they can be closed after they played a few seconds. There is an option to pay to remove the ads, but it can be pricey. Plus, it only removes the pop-up ads, but not the ones that show up when you get an achievement.
The ups
This game is free to play and it can be played without Internet connection. There are several things to unlock and it has fantastic backstory, graphics, and animation.
The downs
There are way too many advertisements, some of them you cannot close until they are done playing.
The verdict Aside from the advertisements that show up for every achievement, Factory Inc. is an entertaining simulation game that has a lot to offer. There are so much content to unlock and it doesn’t require Internet connection.
