I remember reading all Harry Potter books and also watching all its movies. Me even watched them several times. I came across this app called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery by Jam City, Inc. Me gave it a try and I’ll share with ye me lads and lasses about what I think about it on this review.

This is even more interesting and fun for those who are a fan of the Harry Potter series. Seeing familiar characters and environment itself is already enough to give you that good feeling regarding the game, especially you have the chance to experience exploring the famous places and popular characters that you’ve seen in the movies or read in the novels. The app is free although it comes with advertisements.

The developers did an amazing job when it comes to the graphics. First, you get to customize your character, which is cool as you can choose its features from the shape of the face to the hair style and color, and more. The popular characters like the professors look like them so you will be able to tell immediately who there are. The places in the Harry Potter movie looks the same as the ones in the game, including the popular hall where the students gather, and the stores where students buy their books and wands.
Excellent Story Line
The storyline of the game is also based on the Harry Potter novel and movie, although you won’t get to experience everything that Harry Potter experienced himself because you are not playing his character. The story starts from customizing your character to purchasing your books and wands, then choosing your house. From there on, you will face and experience different things, including learn spells and interact with other characters, as you complete tasks and move to next levels.

While this game may be detailed in graphics and it has a fantastic story line, it lacks a sense of action. It’s mostly a tap on the screen and waiting game. Energy also gets depleted quickly so you need to wait for a long time before it is replenished, which means that you can’t play continuously for a long time.
