Having been a pirate for several years, this old salt is not new to various sea creatures. I’ve seeneverything from the cute little fishes to those huge sea monsters! Aaaarrrrgggghhhh! I was almost eatenby one when I was a new bucko and me and the crew went down Davy Jones’ Locker to steal somebooties. This app that I’ll be sharing with ye lass and lasses reminds me of that big sea creature. Heaveho and let’s start with this Hungry Shark Evolution review.

Not the Usual Concept

Most apps usually have the good guys as the main characters. This one is different because you’ll get tocontrol a hungry shark. It’s a little violent and gruesome at the same time, but something that youwould still be able to handle. Feed the shark with everything that comes its way, as long as it’ssomething that isn’t bigger than it. There are also missions that you need to complete along the waythat would gain you coins, as well as unlock new levels and items. Make it evolve into a bigger shark while avoiding obstacles like missiles and hunger.

Striking Graphics and Sounds

There are different creatures that you can see underwater and there are ships, boats and people on the water. The graphics is eye catching with the creatures and people moving smoothly as if they were real. The sound effect that you’ll hear when the shark is chomping on whatever’s in front of it and the screaming people add to the excitement of the game.

Lots of Content to Unlock and Explore

The underwater world where the game is set is vast so there’s so much to explore. There are also over 70 missions to complete, which makes it more interesting. You can also unlock various items that you can use to make your shark look cooler, as well as items that can help it survive further in the game. The app is continuously being updated so there’s always something new to look forward to.

The Good

What’s good about this app is that it offers a different game concept. If you’re tired of the same match three puzzle game or endless runners that you’ve been playing for a long time, this is something fresh that you may find interesting. Its rich content would also entice you to play more in order to unlock them. This is a nice game that would keep you occupied during down time.

The Bad

The drawback of this app is that some of the items cost too much coins or gems to unlock. It may take time to collect all those, unless you speed it up by having an in-app purchase. Moreover, this app is not for everyone. It’s not advised for younger kids as it has a touch of violence in it as the shark chomps on everything including on people.
