Ahoy there me hearties! It’s me again, yer favorite friendly app pirate ready to explore the seven seas to find more booties. I was watching a show earlier, and it showed different kinds of Japanese foods. That’s one of me favorite cuisines because of its freshness and tastiness. I remembered when me and the buckos had a short vacation in Japan. We had a great time as we tried different foods. Me love their authentic ramen and pork tonkatsu. Me try to recreate it when we are sailing, but the authentic Japanese foods are still different. If ye are into Japanese foods, this app will interest ye. But instead of eating, you will be serving. So batten down the hatches and let’s begin the review of this app called Japan Food Chain by Touchten Games.

Fantastic art work

Japan Food Chain Review

Japanese animation and drawings are known to be eye-catching and detailed. This game does not fall short of that because it has gorgeous art work. It’s what you will imagine when you think of a Japanese restaurant. Before a level begins, it shows the outside of the restaurant, where you will see a typical Japanese structure with its intricate design, and a cherry blossom tree on the right side. When the game starts, it gives you a first person point of view while in the kitchen. Customers will order and you will serve them by tapping on the right food items. Even the plates and other utensils are like those used in Japan. There are also different customers, although they may repeat throughout the game.

It’s free and fun with little ads

Japan Food Chain App

You can download and play the game for free. There are ads, but they are not too much, so you will not be too bothered about them. You will have fun because you can unlock more foods, and new restaurants as you go progress in the game. It’s also enjoyable when you hear the customers talk in Japanese.

The number of levels to play are limited

However, unlike similar games where you can keep playing as long as you still have lives, you are only limited to play a specific number of levels per day. It would take eight hours before you can continue playing, unless you use premium currency and make an in-app purchase. Also, you can only upgrade one item per level. So, it might be difficult to reach the goals in other levels, because of the limits that you have with the upgrades.

The good

It’s free and it’s fun to play. It has excellent art work that will remind you of Japan. Although it’s free, you will not be bombarded by ads.

The bad

You are limited to a number of levels to play per day, then you have to wait eight hours before you can continue. Even the upgrades are limited to one per level, unless you make an in-app purchase.

The verdict

Japan Food Chain is a fun game to play, especially if you are into Japanese foods or art work. It’s free, and it will remind you of Japanese animation. It may have limitations, but considering it would not cost you anything to play the game and it has limited ads, it’s one to add on your list.
