Background Story and Basic Game Play
In 1908, an unidentified object crashed to the earth and caused a huge explosion in Tunguska. This was a region of Siberia located in Russia. Some people were affected by the energy wave from the explosion. This gave them astonishing abilities and intelligence. These people were called Kvasir. After 30 years, the Axis group, which were defeated by the Allied forces during the World War II planned on using the Kvasir so they can rule the world.
You and your troops would be sent by the Allied group to prevent Axis from capturing Kvasir. However, the enemies were able to take down several of your men. You and those who survived the attack of the Axis group would find an inhabited island. Since you lost contact with the Allies, you will start building your base and make it powerful to become successful in your mission against the Axis force.
Construct buildings for your resources and units. Recruit and train troops for your battles. Play the story mode and fight against Axis. There are missions that you need to complete aside from your main goal, which is to defeat the Axis group. The main currency of the game is coins, which can be used for purchasing buildings, recruiting units and upgrading them. Diamonds are the premium currency, which can be used for speeding up process such as construction of buildings.
They can also be used for purchasing special items. Aside from the story mode, you may also play against other players on the challenge mode. On the other hand, you can lend a helping hand to your friends by helping them fight enemies, construct buildings and farm plots on their own base. We Pirates don’t usually tend to help others, unless we’re talking about a nice Lass in distress, savvy?
Buildings
There are various types of buildings that you can place on your base. They include military, business, resource, decoration and residence. This will test your strategy on which buildings to construct and which to upgrade first. You may want to focus on military, business and residence buildings first instead of decoration as you would need them in growing your base.
Decorations are merely for aesthetics. There are also decorations that do not just improve the look of your base but improve your production as they give resource and population bonuses. However, these types of buildings can be purchased using premium currency, so you may want to think over before using them as they will require the use of real money. On the other hand, the decorations sure look good, and this dusty old Pirate likes to pillage and loot from time to time… Just sayin’!
Verdict
The graphics of the game is eye catching. Its 150 missions and 20 levels will keep you occupied for a long time. Aside from the story mode, it has player versus player mode, which makes it more exciting. Furthermore, you can help your friends enhance their base, which will give you interaction points.
