When I was a little lad, me mama would call a big, fat plumber to fix our kitchen sink. I would see his crack when he would bend back. Aye, I was a naughty tot so I threw crumpled paper at him targeting his crack. Sink me! It was pretty hilarious. The Plumber Crack game reminded me of those old sweet days, when I was not yet a full pledged pirate.
The Game Play
The game is similar to Office Jerk, which was also created by Fluik. Instead of hitting the jerk in the office with various things, your target will be the plumber’s crack. Your first weapon is an ice tube. Throw it aiming to hit the crack of the plumber. By doing so, ye will earn some coins. However, ye lads need to focus and have your A game on as unlike the target in Office Jerk, the plumber, which is the target for this game, would move every now and then. This makes it harder to hit your goal. But you can do this with constant practice me hearties.
There are two meters on the left and right side of the game window. The one on the left will be the crack bucks meter and the one on the right is the mystery box meter. Hitting ye target will add more coins, increasing the meter on the left. Consecutive hits will gain more coins, as well as increase the mystery box on the right. Missing your target will decrease the number of coins making it longer to fill the crack bucks meter. Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh! I missed my target a couple of times because of a huge wave that hit the ship. However, bombs can be used so the misses wouldn’t be counted against you.
You will see how many crack bucks you have on the upper right side of the game window. Use these bucks for purchasing new items to throw at your target, as well as buy new clothes and tattoos for customizing the plumber. Yo ho ho! This will make the game more fun. You can choose between a girl and a guy plumber. I prefer the girl. Blimey! Her back looks bloody great!
There are 4 game modes to choose from which include the arcade mode, zen mode, sharpshooter mode and the time attack mode. The arcade mode is the basic mode of the game in which you need to unlock new items as you progress with it. The zen mode is the unlimited mode where ye lads can throw ice backs on the plumber’s crack as long as you want. Other items for throwing are not available for this mode. The sharpshooter mode will test your accuracy for hitting your target, while the time attack mode will let you play the game on a limited time. In app purchase is also available if ye want to unlock items immediately.
The Good
The game doesn’t need special skills for ye lads and lassies to learn how to play. It will keep you busy for several hours; especially there is a Zen mode that would let you play as long as you want. The option to choose the plumber’s gender and the ability to customize their clothes and add tattoos make the game even more fun. This gives twist to the repetitive process of the game.
The Bad
Though the graphics is not that bad at all, a little improvement would be better. It looks too cartoonish. Most game apps today have great graphics as this makes them more interesting and eye catching. It takes time to earn one crack bucks. So if ye buckos want to unlock the other items on the game, ye all need to spend more time hitting your target. That’s unless ye are willing to spend some booties from ye treasure hunt. The cheapest that you can purchase from the apps store is 30 crack bucks for $4.99. Shiver me timbers!
