Ahoy there me lads and lasses! Yer friendly app pirate is here again, getting ready for another dive down Davey Jones’ locker. We are currently focusing our booty hunting efforts there because there are several new great finds. We’ve been diving for days, and we found amazing things and there’s still more to explore. It’s the other buckos’ turn to dive, as I just finished my turn. So, while me resting, me thought why not give ye another app review as this old salt know that ye hearties are waiting for it. So, listen up, lend me yer ears as me tell ye about this app called Pocket World 3D by Minimonster Game Limited.
It’s free with in-app purchases
If you are looking for a free and fun casual game, it’s something to add on your list. You can keep playing the game without spending any real money, but of course, you have the option to make an in-app purchase to unlock puzzles. But you will not be forced to do it, so it all depends on your decision.
Adorable graphics
The graphics are detailed, since you will put together parts to create the scene or structure. There are various themes, including Christmas, which make the game more enjoyable and exciting. It’s nice to see all kinds of places that you will see in different countries around the world, in miniature 3D version, such as Dutch cottage and windmill.
It has a fresh take on puzzle games
It’s not your usual puzzle game, so if you are looking for something fresh, this is a great option. As mentioned, there are different structures or settings from different places that you need to solve by putting together their parts. You will have a white silhouette for the image of the puzzle, which will give you a clue on how the structure looks like. You can zoom in and out, and rotate the image, and the controls are smooth and easy. You move to the next puzzle once you completed the current one by placing all parts correctly.
It has several ads and puzzles are not readily available
Like most free games, this one also has ads. Unfortunately, there are several of them, and although it’s a fun game, you have to be patient with the advertisements. Also, unless you use premium currency, you cannot play continuously because you need to wait for the other puzzles to be available, so you can only play a few puzzles each day.
The good
This app is fun and enjoyable, and it gives a fresh take on the puzzle game genre. It’s free and it has adorable graphics. There are also different themes, making it more exciting.
The bad
There’s too many ads and you can only play limited number of puzzles each day unless you make an in-app purchase.
The verdict
Although the game has plenty of ads, if you can be patient about them, you will enjoy the puzzles because they are eye-catching, detailed, and has different themes. It’s something fresh from the typical puzzle. It’s also free, so you may want to try it.
