Ho, ho, ho and a bottle of rum! Ahoy! As pirates, me and me crew stay fit and healthy so we can be sharp and fast when in a battle with other pirates, when treasure hunting or diving down Davy Jones’ Locker to get some booty. It may be unlikely me hearties, but we actually do yoga too! Aye! When we had a short vacation on land, our landlubber friends took us to a yoga class and we liked it. Since then, we would have a yoga session in the good old Jolly Roger once in a while. The app that I will share with you for today has something to do with that. It’s called Pocket Yoga and it was made by Rainfrog. Avast ye lads and lasses and let’s begin with the review.
It Has Clean Graphics
One of the things that you would notice when use this app concerning its graphics is that it’s minimalist, which is just right since you want to relax your mind and not be distracted by clatters or flashy designs. The developers focused on keeping it clean and sharp. The backgrounds are light and soothing to the eyes and the images of the poses are clearly illustrated, making them easy to follow.
Comes with Several Sessions, Poses and Environment
Pocket Yoga has different environments to choose from, depending on your mood for the day. More environments can also be unlocked as you progress. There are more than 200 poses with images and detailed information so you would know the exact thing to do to get the accurate pose. It also has 27 sessions to choose from so there’s something that would match your needs.
It Has a Preview of Sessions with Various Difficulty Levels
This app is for everyone who wants to practice yoga as it comes with various difficulty levels. So whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced, you can select a level that’s right for you. There’s also a preview when picking a session so you would know what are the poses involved. You could then determine in advance if this is the session you want to do or wish to pick something else. While it comes with default music, you may choose your own music by running another app while Pocket Yoga is running.
The Good
Pocket Yoga lets you do yoga anytime, anywhere, and at your own pace. It’s for everyone as it has difficulty levels for beginners to advanced users. The graphics are simple but sharp. There are also several sessions and environments to choose from, as well as hundreds of poses to learn.
The Bad
This app is not free. You need to pay $2.99 if you wish to download it on your device. It could also have been better if it can be played on bigger screen so your yoga experience will be better.
The Verdict
Pocket Yoga may come with a price, but it’s all worth it considering that you can stay fit and healthy through yoga that you can do at home and in your own pace. If you want to learn yoga or you are already doing it, but you wish to do it at home instead of joining a class, this app is recommended.

I will actually not mind paying a few dollars to bag myself a quality Yoga app! This one comes with videos and some pretty cool graphics. I do hope that it’s also a glitch-free title. Great review here, had a good read!
