Ahoy there me hearties! Christmas day is coming and I can’t wait to spend it with me landlubber friends. Aye, we also have our holiday break. ‘Tis not always booty hunting and sailing for us. Speaking of Christmas, I got this app called Santa Sweet Tooth. Ye lads can get this for free at the Google Play store. Is it something that ye buckos would enjoy? Let’s find out with this Santa Sweet Tooth review.
Get those Sweet Candies
Santa Sweet Tooth is an app for Android that has the perfect theme for this season. Instead of Santa giving gifts and candies to kids, in this game, you would collect falling candies to feed Santa. The goal is to collect as many candies as you can. There is the Christmas spirit that serves as your life in the game. Your Christmas spirit will go down when you miss a candy and the game will end when it turns zero. Upgrades can be made for the Christmas spirit, as well as for the speed bonus, which you would need as dropping of candies would become faster as you progress in the game.
The app is pretty easy to play as you basically just have to tap the screen left or right to move Santa and let him collect the candies. The app responds well to the controls so you should not have problems. You just need to be a bit quicker when the candies start dropping faster.
Let’s Go to the North Pole
The app is made of 3D graphics. Aside from the falling candies, there are two houses, mountains, falling snow and of course, the main character of the game, Santa. Watching the snow falling on the background is fun. However, the overall graphics is not that impressive. Santa looks a bit creepy and the background is boring as it does not have much colors. Even the candies do not look attractive.
The sound adds fun to the game and the background music is great for the app as it’s a Christmas music from Kevin Macleon. Playing the game with this music brings a different feeling of happiness. It brings the holiday spirit and it would make you feel good.
What I Like and Dislike
What I like about the game is that it’s free and you don’t have to spend cash even on in-app purchases to play the game properly. The controls work well so you can catch the candies without a problem. It’s easy to play and it does not contain any violent materials, making it a good app for kids. The background music is perfect for the theme of the app and the falling snow adds points to the visuals.
What I don’t like is that the graphics are not that impressive. Since it has a Christmas theme it would be better if it could have been more colorful. When you think of this season and candies, you would imagine beautiful and lively images. But this one did not have any of those. It also gets repetitive after some time since there are no other levels or modes to play.
The Verdict
Santa Sweet Tooth is an app that little kids may enjoy. After all, it’s about Santa and candies. But adults may not really like it; though you may still play the game to kill time. Besides, a Pirate such as I can’t afford to believe in fairy tales. I got a reputation to maintain… Savvy?
