Ahoy there me hearties! It’s yer friendly app pirate again back for another app review. Me crew and I found this game called Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard. This massively multiplayer online game is installed not just on me device, but that of the other buccaneers in me crew too. Left-eye Morrison and Big Jim play against each other but sometimes go on co-op. Arrrgghhh! They end up not helping in the cleaning of the ship ‘cause they are too busy playing. Let me share with ye lads and lasses this app that had these two buckos stuck on their devices. Avast ye as we begin!

Gorgeous Graphics and Animation

Soul Guardians Age of Midgard Review

Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard is made in 2D. The characters, background and fighting effects are eye catching. It feels a lot like you’re watching an anime series. There are several guardians to choose from and they have their own looks and skills. Their costumes can even be changed making it more fun to play with. If you’re familiar with the anime character Naruto, one of the characters looks a lot like him. When it comes to the play itself, it reminds me of another MMO called Grand Chase. The background is also different in various worlds so you don’t see the same thing throughout the game.

Not Your Usual MMO

Soul Guardians Age of Midgard App

Massively multiplayer online games usually have quests that you need to complete. Skills can be upgraded as you level up. All these basic features of MMO games are present in this app. However, what makes it different is that it combines other features from other games giving it a fresh twist. Soul Art Cards can be collected as you play, but they are not just merely for collection. You can actually use them on your attacks. Aside from the usual quests, you can either play against other players or play as allies with them. It’s fun since you can connect with your friends and enjoy playing the game together.

Thumbs Up

There are several great things to love about Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard. The graphics and visual effects are eye catching, adding excitement to the game. It also has lots of content to explore and it combines various features from other games making it a nice mix. This is something that you can spend time playing for a long time, especially there’s a lot of content to unlock. It’s also nice how you can play with others. You can either compete with them or work with them.

Thumbs Down

The only drawback is that it takes long to unlock content on higher levels. You may find yourself playing the specific world that you’re in longer that you did on the lower levels. If you don’t want to easily unlock them, in-app purchase is available, although it’s something that would still depend on you.

The Verdict

If you’re into massively multiplayer online games, there’s not a doubt that you would enjoy Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard. You just need to be patient to unlock content in the higher levels if you don’t want to spend money for in-app purchases.
