Space Disorder is a platformer offered by Bulkypix for free. If you enjoy games like Jetpack Joyride, this one is for you. But this is even better as you will not just fly in a jetpack endlessly. You will play the role of Noah. Complete side missions, aside from the main goal of the game, which is to save your girlfriend Zanita and other adorable aliens. Fight the robot enemies from outer space and avoid obstacles to achieve your goal.
Game Basics
The game has 10 unlockable levels, each level having various stages that you need to complete before the next level will be available. Swipe and hold on the direction that you would like to go to. Collect coins, equipments and power-ups along the way, while rescuing friendly aliens that have been caged by the evil robots. To free alien, tap the key button that appears above the cage. Keys can be collected on the game, as well as purchased on the store. Your journey will not be easy as the enemies will be there to stop you. There are also red and blue lasers that you need to avoid as they can harm you. Robots can also get killed by lasers.
As mentioned, there are equipments that you can collect along the way that will help you in completing your mission. The shield will protect you against enemies, explosion or laser. However, it will vanish after saving you once. The stellar shield is another type of shield that will make you invincible for a limited period. When you have this shield, you can destroy robots and pass through debris by just walking through them. The dynamites are used for destroying debris, as well as robots. Generators will deactivate or reactivate red and blue lasers. Cosmo coins are different colored coins that are worth 20 gold coins. The gravity orb inverts the gravity when used. You can carry up to 5 grenades and 5 gravity orbs, which you can use by tapping on their icon on the lower left side of the game window. The aliens that you rescue will give you missions that you can complete to earn techno points. These points are used for upgrading items and changing your avatar. In app purchase for coins and techno points are also available.
Go Shopping for Gear
The Space Disorder Store can be accessed on the main menu of the game. This is where you buy equipments, upgrades, as well as change your avatar. Tap on the equipments tab to purchase the items you need including orb (100 coins), grenade (150 coins), clone replacement (300 coins), present or gift (300 coins) and key (100 coins). To upgrade your items, tap on the upgrade tab.
Spend 12 techno points or TP to accumulate more shield, 12 TP for the effect of stellar shield to last longer, 12 TP to increase the chance that your dead clone will drop quality item and 12 TP to increase the value of cosmo coins. To change your avatar, tap on the costumes tab. Choose Classic Zanita for 50 TP, Bounty Huntress for 50 TP and Space Knight, also for 50 TP. Reverting to the Classic Noah, will not cost you anything.
Verdict
Space Disorder is recommended for those who love playing platform games. Its cartoonish yet clear and sharp graphics make it fun and enjoyable. The sound also gives more life to the game. Since techno points are not as easy to collect as the gold coins, you may end up getting an in-app purchase if you badly want to get the upgrades or change avatar.
