So, if ye ask me about this game, I would say that ye buckos would love it as much as I do. It brings back the good ol’ memories of me childhood when I was playing tank video games with me friends.
Space Tanks is an application from Nexon, which is known for creating online games that can be played for free on the web. They also started developing apps for mobiles and this is one of the best that they have released.
The Gist
Space Tanks can be played on a single player or multi-player mode. For the single player mode, you will be battling against AI tanks. There are three stages to clear on each level before the next one will be unlocked. For instance, play the first stage of level 1 and clear to get to the next stage. Clearing stage 2 of level 1 will give you stage 3, which is the boss fight. After clearing stage 3, that is the time that you will have access to the second level.
Again, you need to complete the 3 stages of level 2, before moving to level 3 and so on. The multi-player mode supports up to 6 players. The tanks on the single player mode move and shoot randomly. They do not really go after you. If you want a more real feel of the battle, playing with real players can greatly improve the gaming experience.
There are 16 battlefields to explore on this game. Since it supports retina display, your eyes can feast on its high quality graphics. One of the exciting features of this game is that the tank and avatar are customizable. Choose from the 17 tanks available and add enhancements according to your preference. Make your avatar unique from the others by selecting its hair, eyes, mouth and even its suit. Use the D Pad on the left side to move your tank around and the attack button on the right to shoot the enemies. Each tank has its own skills. Use your tank’s special ability by tapping on the skills button located on top of the attack button.
Gold Chips
Gold chips are used as currency for this game. They are used for acquiring enhancements, upgrades, as well as customizing your avatar. You are given 600 chips when you start the game. There are various quests that you can complete on this app, which are accessible by tapping the challenge option on the upper right side of the game window. The quests will reward you specific number of chips upon completing them.
