Ahoy there me lads and lasses! It’s me again yer friendly app pirate and we’re preparing to do another dive down Davy Jones’ locker. It’s been a while since we explored that place, so we’re sure that many interesting finds await us. Not many dive down there, so we’re confident it wouldn’t be crowded. Traffic in the sea is also not a problem, unlike in land, where we usually experience heavy traffic. I only get to experience that now through games, and that includes the app that we have for review. So, batten down the hatches and let me tell ye more about the game called Traffic Escape! by Fomo Games.
It easy to learn but hard to master
The gameplay is pretty basic, so it’s easy to understand and learn. Moreover, the first levels serve as tutorials as level one shows you how it’s done and the following levels aren’t difficult either, so you get to practice. As the level goes up, so does the difficulty level. It gets more challenging as there are more cars to work on with limited moves.
It has simple graphics
The graphics are also not that much, but it’s still good for the game, especially since your focus is on solving the puzzle. It’s set in a road with green grassy areas, and the main road where the cars are. That’s basically what you’ll see throughout the game. If you are into extravagant images, it would disappoint you on that part. But if clean graphics is all okay with you, then the artwork will be enough as it’s still high quality even if it’s basic.
It’s free with multiple ads
The game is free to download and play. It starts with only a few ads, but as you progress in the game, you’ll get an advertisement after every level, and more ads to play bonus levels. Some of the ads are also long, so you would spend more time watching them. There’s also no option to play the game offline. So, if you are not connected to the internet or you don’t have data, you will not be able to play the game.
It has hundreds of levels but can get repetitive
There are hundreds of levels that await you. They are short levels, so it’s a fast-paced game. However, the higher levels look the same. It can get repetitive, feeling like you’re playing the same levels over again. There’s no variety, making it easily boring at that point.
Thumbs up
This game is free to download and play, and it’s also easy to learn. It’s challenging, which keeps you wanting to play more. There are hundreds of levels to play and the simple graphics work for it.
Thumbs down
It has multiple advertisements and the higher levels can get repetitive. It’s not available offline.
The verdict
Traffic Escape! is recommended for those who are looking for a simple and fast-paced yet challenging game to play. It’s free to download and there are hundreds of levels to keep you occupied. You just need an internet connection to keep playing.
